MINUTES

• Meeting called to order by Acting Chair (Don Patocka vice chair)
• Introduction were done
• Pledge of Allegiance was recited
• Quorum was now present
• Don Patocka read the voluntary termination letter from Phil Rose
• James Dixon motioned to accept Phil Rose’s resignation, motion carried
• Nomination were asked for
• Carrie Hanson was nominated James Dixon motioned for Carrie Hanson to represent district #1 motion carried
• Don Patocka instructed Carrie Hanson on her remaining time
• James Dixon motioned to defer the approval of the minutes until the end on the meeting motion carried
• Gene Robinson read the treasures report
• Paul Smith motioned to make a new check for reimbursement for Utah neighborhoods. Motion carried
• James Dixon Motioned to approve the treasures report motion carried
• James Dixon and Bev Uipi talked about the service duties of County Enforcement
• Paul Smith talked about homes that has had pictures taken from him that has fire hazards and ordinances problems, information was given to Bev Uipi
• Council talked about two properties that are advertising for sub dividing
• Don Patocka addressed Bev Uipi to change him from being the Planning and Zoning contact
• The 1300 East widening project was addressed by Chair and opened to the floor for input. No input was given.
• Bev Uipi read the mayors report including (the compatibility’s house ordinance and the light bulb recycling.
• James Dixon asked Bev Uipi about the volunteer form and she stated that it was on the Acct. agenda and Jeff Silverstriny was working on the verbiage.
• Greg Shultz read and discussed the School District Split, Local Sheriffs’ District, Cog and Wasatch Front, and HB 40 study and annexation.
• James Dixon proceeded with the logo contest judging, all attendees of the meeting voted and the logo from (Josh Awtry) of the sun coming up over the mountains was the winner.
• Paul Smith motioned that the logo that (the sun rising over the mountains with a very pretty sunrise) be the White City Logo. Motion carried
• Bonnie Cummings motioned that the logo from Amelia-Slama-Catron that was done of a church and play ground with Crayola to be runner-up. Motioned carried
• Jesse Harris did a presentation on behalf of Utopia high speed internet service, questions were asked and answered
• Paul Smith motioned to approve April and June minutes motion carried
• Chair Closed and Adjourned the meeting
